OUR VISION

Shipping business has at least a 5.000-year history and has always progressed arm-in-arm with ship supply business.

Dating back to ancient times and having first appeared Ionians period, shipping business is now continued by international scale companies. Turkey has a vital and strategic location where international shipping business is busy; and its straits function as a very important corridor for both countries in the region and those having trade relations with this region on account of the fact that Istanbul and Gallipoli Straits provide the only sea route to the Black Sea. 

President's New Year Message

2023 was a special year for us due to both 100th anniversary of Turkish Republic and 20th anniversary of TURSSA.

Nonetheless, we have a collective deep sadness about earthquake disaster, happened at the beginning of 2023, in Turkey. On the other hand, during this period, our sector’s continuous operations without any lag, show us our sector’s strength.

20th anniversary of our Association

As TURSSA (Turkish Ship Suppliers Association), we are excited to reach both the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic and also 20th anniversary of our Association in 2023.

TURSSA is the representative of ship supply industry of Turkey, was established on 4th July 2003. Since our establishment, we have been working with the Chamber of Shipping and all relevant Public Institutions of Turkey.
