President's Message

 

Dear Members, Valuable Sector Stakeholders and All Ship Supply Sector Workers;

Turkish Ship Suppliers Association (TURSSA) is the representative of ship supply industry of Turkey, was established on 4th July 2003. As TURSSA, we are excited to reach both the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic and also 20th anniversary of our Association in 2023.

After 20 development oriented years, we see with a pride that our sector has great steps. TURSSA aims to increase its share in the international area as a qualifed, trustable and eco friendly service bridge between land suppliers and maritime industry, for the coming 20 years.

When we look at the past 20 years since its establishment, its strength has been improving from year to year. Especially in the latest period despite pandemic process and earthquake disaster, our continues work flow with your great effort, shows the performance of our industry once again.

The cooperation with ISSA and OCEAN for many years gives us an advantage to increase our well known in the international area.

Turkish Ship Supplier Sector, provides full support to maritime transportation with its all day and night working structure, is one of the important links in the maritime industry workflow chain. Our business is much more than a trade and is based on trust.

Our sector does not only have contribution to domestic sales but also has added value for foreign trade. For this reason, we provide added value to Turkey’s total gross national product and employment through both the domestic market and export channels.

We celebrate our 20th anniversary by emphasizing the concept “sustainability”. As a huge part of ecosystem, marines is the important part of sustainability. In this context, as TURSSA, with its whole members, has a high awareness about sustainability.
